Web: Combine Home and World Pages
Christian Seibold
I think that the home and world pages should be combined so the world page becomes the home page with an extra tab for what was formerly the home page (I assume that was subscriptions).
So, I would remove the currently home page, make the world page the home page, and add a new tab on the world page called "Subscriptions" or "Following" or something along those lines.
I think this will significantly simplify the current web layout.
Edit: I've added a mockup below.

Essentially you want to make the public feed the new home feed(default). And make the home feed an optional feed to view separately.
Christian Seibold
Massimo Raimondi No no no. The home feed will remain the default. I want the home feed to have the public, explore, and trending tabs on it, however.
I will make a mockup to make this easier to understand :)

Having a World feed multiplied on every users profile rather than just in one “place” where it resides now beside Trending and explore sounds problematic. I don’t want to see everyone’s content when I open up the app every morning and I shouldn’t have to navigate to see the content of who I’m following.
Christian Seibold
Ideflex What does this have to do with my suggestion? The interface wouldn't default to the world tab, and there'd be no duplicate. I think you misunderstood. The trending, public, and explore tabs should be moved over to the home page, and the current home page should be the defaultly-selected tab called "Home Feed" or "Subscriptions" or such. There'd be no required navigation to see content of who you are following, and there's be no duplication of anything.
Edit: I've created a mockup above to get across what I meant by this request.

Ideflex The home page I'm referring to is not the user's profile.

Ideflex Agree the default page should be the a users home feed where they see their followers content and communities they are part of. The option to view Public, Trending and Explore categories would be kept as separate options.
